hi
my name is chloe, i am currently living in sydney and an extreme "pistachio nut" myself! being french i love making desserts and developped a taste for pistache at home after purchasing some pistachio paste (to make macaroons) from the local fabulous patissier/chocolatier.
since my arrival on the australian territory, i have been finding it hard to get my oh-so-needed french products (such as chestnut spread).
soooo... i was wondering if you could please please please let me know where i can buy a good quality pistachio paste or give me a recipe thats is not gluten free or whatever free (as i have no allergies and worship original recipes and ingredients)?
i tried to make pistachio paste once and i must say they didnt break down in the food processor, so i was left with little bits of nuts and my recipe ended up not tasting of pitachios at all :-(

hope you can help!
cheers

I was also inspired by David's pistachio ice cream. So much so that I went out and bought the ice cream machine and set myself a challenge to find Bronte pistachio paste in Oz. Admittedly it wasn't too hard. If you're still interested in finding Bronte pistachio paste, drop me a line and i'll lead you in the right direction.
