I'm glad you're enjoying reading the blog. I hope this makes Melbourne an even better experience than it already is. MoVida is awesome, and I'm happy I discovered that before the Masterchef hype hehehe...

I guess I did arrive a bit late.
The place looked nice, but MoVida next door felt way more relaxed. I guess it had something to do with the open space, and the friendliness of the service. I do intend to visit Bodega and I'll try the fish fingers! they sound great.
Now you learn something new each day. Mojama turns out to be a phoenician invention, though I've never heard of it before.

I did try to go to Bar Lourinha, but it was closed as it was Anzac day :(

Ok I have to admit Fouad, you must try bodega again, but arrive at about 5:45 t get a table.

Have the fish fingers, they are my favourite dish there. Sashimi Kingfish on garlic toasts topped with thinly sliced onions and mojama. They are amazing and you can soak up all the excess oil with extra bread.

I have heard a lot of hype about MoVida and Movida next door but next time you are down go to Bar Lourinha. I was so impressed with everything about this place. It is a casual bar with no bookings, excellent food and a funky interior.
