What a serene image—really like both the textural and tonal contrasts between the gnarled pale chickpea and the matte ebony mustard seed.
I am still finding black mustard seeds in my galley every time I clean—once those wee beasties start popping out of their pan when dry-roasting, they go EVERYWHERE, the creatures.
Mustard seed? This appears to be a bowling ball … Interesting aspect, this can truly be appreciated with such great photography. The humble but tasty chickpea pales in comparison. Maybe it is crying out for help from the mighty mustard seed.
